    golden party pin -- verdict?

Here I have a 24mm golden party pin. Is it a fake (probably), It has the raised leaves, but not the RR tracks. The o is oval (although isn't that ok on this size?) and the swastika touches the boarder. I don't know if the hyphen is far enough over the L though. What do you think?

          Hi Dennis

I am far from an expert on these, but I am sorry to say that I think your badge is a reproduction.

From the examples I have seen the back of the badge looks wrong. I have not see one with the MM number on before.

Best wait for some fellow forum members who know more than I, but that is my humble opinion

          All the best

          Raymond

            100% not original I'm afraid.

Yes - a pretty poor fake for all kinds of reasons. The M/37 I think is trying to be a RZM code, but it is wrong and in any event RZM codes never appeared on Gold Party Badges.

You can see genuine examples on my Gold Party Badge website.

Thanks -- I kind of figured that.
