SA-Leibstandarte Table Medal

Hi Everyone,

Thought some of you might be interested to see this recent addition to my collection: table medal, as awarded to the 2nd place in the Spahtrupplauf (Recon Troops / Scout / Patrol - Race) 1939 of the SA-Leibstandarte.

A rare medal me thinks.

Glad you both like it.

@ Bill - the reverse is plain. As to the metal, I believe it is zinc based, since the finish shows the bubbling typical of zinc badges.
