Does anybody out there recognise this SA man? He's wearing a Gold Party Badge.

Well, can anybody tell me anything about him at all? I am no SA uniform expert, but I think the cuff bands mean he joined the NASDAP in 1925 and the arrow on the shoulder means he went to a leadership school. What else am I missing?
Any info very humbly and most gratefully received.

Well, the cuff rings are on upside down (big ones should be over narrow ones)-- which seems more normal than regulation, judging by photos. And his "Tyr rune" shoulder patch is most unusual on a big backing patch, rather than simply the rune shape.

Can you make out more of the collar tab on the original? He might be this dude; Joseph Grohe, a Gauleiter with the appropriate long-time service.

Histariaid you know if Grohe held a SA rank? because if we can see the tabs clearly, than we can see it isn't a gauleiter tab, cause it's a SA-uniform he's wearing.
But maybe your right, he looks really likes Grohe.

It looks the tabs got two oakleaves, so that mkes him an Oberfuhrer I guess.
