James, Nice 4804b second form. I haven't seen too many of these. Alot of 4803f that look like fakers and a few 4804d. Here is my 4804d. Robert

Reverse, Void of any mm but I believe this type is supposed to be un-marked. Maybe others have examples to show.

Mine is identical to burgerhaus' example, so no point in showing it . Nice cream-coloured enamel and a deep doming of the badge.

                Hi Robert,
Speaking of Ralph, haven't seen him here on the forum lately.
                Hope he is ok.

                  Stephen,
Is the reverse of your badge copper or does it have a plated silver
                  look to it? Just curious.

                    Hi John,

Reverse of mine is copper with traces of silver remaining under the catch.

                      Hello Stephen,
Thanks. The reverse of mine looks to have a somewhat bright silver plating
which at first had me suspicious of the originality of the badge.
Seeing none of these are maker marked, do we know who the manufacturers
may have been? Just curious. These badges don't seem to turn up that often
and I wonder how widely faked they are now?
