    SA Motorcycle License Plate

    I picked this up recently more for my Motorcycle interests than for my Militaria collecting, but after looking at it I began to wonder if it might be an early SA motorcycle fender plate.

    I'm hoping someone out there can confirm it for me one way or the other.

    It measure approx 12 5/8" (32mm) long & appears to either be hand painted or else touched up some time ago & there is no doubt that it is old.

    Any input would be appreciated.

          It doesn't look German--and I'm sure it's not connected to the SA. Motorcycles used by the SA usually have civilian license plates.
