    Nazi Party Judical Collar Tabs.

Anyone have information on Judges of the Supreme Party Court? My feeble research states that these tabs are for retired judges. Would welcome more information. Base matterial is BLACK velvet. (Active judges wore dark blue).
    Thanks,
    Howard

        Howard,
The best reference on the Parteigericht insigna is Clyde Davis' article in 'The Military Advisor' of Spring 2000. However there was no information about retired judicial insignia. The insignia illustrated, though, shows gold litze with a gold center stripe rather than blue as on this set. The Angolia book mentions black base color for retired judicial personnel but not much more.

          Hello Erich,

          Thanks!

Clyde is a good friend of mine, he enlightened me to the Retired Judical personal being on the black. He's never seen this pattern. So the collar tabs remain a mystery.....

I can't think of any other service that may have worn these tabs.

For now, I'll throw them in the known box.

          Best Regards,
          Howard

            Howard,
Yes, Clyde is a great guy and the best one for researching these. You might want to check with Jeff Clark, if you haven't already. He's working on a book on NSDAP insignia, etc.

              Anybody......?

              Hello Erich,

Never heard back from Jeff Clark.

Incredible that there no other people in the Wehrmacht-Awards forum, that have any knowledge concerning these collar tabs.

              hint! hint!

              Anyone?

Wow two people in the world..........Clyde & Jeff?

                Collar tab identification

                Hi Howard,

I do not think that these are political tabs at all.

They conform exactly to the pattern authorized for the Reichsbahn / Ostbahn which were worn from 1940-41.

The "Ostbahn" was responsible for running the former Polish Railways in the Generalgouvenment (Poland).

I'd like to add these to my collection if you want to sell them.
