    Tinnie on e-stand

Hi guys, not being a tinnie man normaly I need a bit of guidance on this one http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=146128 It appeals to me because of its Munich connections as I am interested in the blood order and this features the FH monument. I cannot recall seing it before recently ,it is priced higher than tinnies normaly are and so I am asking
Is it a good one ?....certainly looks right to me......
Can I find this easily or is it a pretty hard to find tinnie?
and is it priced about right or above what they usualy trade hands for [know thats ahard one to answer but roughly speaking]

    Jon,

Try this link http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...hlight=Und+ihr & the subsequent link in the thread, it may answer some of your questions.

As to price, they were going for about 75 euro for a while, but I haven't checked lately.

    Cheers
    Don

Jon and Don, Here is the example I am holding. The pin attachment plate reads H. Wittmann just as John Bart's solid example in the thread Don found. As for the price, it seems a tad high. Jon, if you are the o/c type and you are satisfied it is authentic, buy it and move on. You might want to ask Mr. Pip what is inscribed on the attachment plate of the example he is offering. Here is my example. Have a nice weekend. Robert

the pin is fine...in fact pretty tough to find for sale...not common...i sold a massive one for150.00 last year...i wish i still had it....
i think the price asked for this one is right on the mark imo....

Jon, I think what Mike means by "massive" is solid and not hollow like mine and the one on e-stand. Robert

                          Jon,
I totally agree with Mike. These badges are hard to come by.
My experience has shown it's harder to find the stamped versions.
                          Robert... nice example

I had a solid one on my site up until two weeks back, sold it for £85 (approx. $150) which fits in with Mike's pricing.

                              Best,
                              Toby.
