I have never seen an original with a fluted type pin. I would be afraid of it.

Sorry, but I agree with John, I'm sure it's a fake. To start with it should be silver coloured not bronze, & I've never seen the colour wear off of these.
It's also very poor quality compared to an original, the steep angle that the picture is taken doesn't help. If you can get pictures taken straight on I could probably tell 100%.
