Marine HJ PIn, Fantasy?, Help Please

Bought this of estand recently, but unsure if it is a fantasy piece or not. i have a vague recollection that it could be. Any help / opinion from a more knowlegable member would be much appreciated.

Personally, I do not like these badges. They usually come in pin back form and maker marked Otto Hoffman. They come in a wide variety of colour combinations too !!

I agree, stay clear of all these coloured (not red) versions of these badges.

          Cheers

I agree - unless it's a standard red/white/black HJ pin, it's a fake. This is the first I have seen of the M1/72 marked ones. I think these fakes became so recognizable by the "Otto Hoffmann" mark they must have recently changed them to an RZM mark. Still bad.

The only exception is a HJ badge with green where the red is with a sunwheel swastika - that is a legit Hungarian HJ badge, but extremely rare.

I did pm the seller about this one at the time it was on the badges e stand, owning the pin back version and from past discussion on these

Rob, he's a good guy that sold you this and I'm sure he'll be disappointed that it's dubious and refund you no matter what, I've bought things from him and he's a true gentleman and very honest

I call these "Skittles" HJ pins - all the colours of the rainbow. (I wonder, do they have Skittles in the UK, or are they just North American candies?)

just for comparison, this is the reverse of an original 'standard' HJ membership badge, which has the same maker M1/72, which I just got in...Cheers, Torsten.
