SA Sports Badge for War Wounded M/52

I was ready to submit this to the 'fakes' forum, as I was to told several years ago by a dealer that the only real ones were marked M/100, but I did a quick search and found a few old threads containing some opinions that the M/52s are actually good.

Anyway, it doesn't look like these have been a topic for a while, so I'm submitting mine for discussion.

It's been a while without any response, so I thought I'd bump this to the top to see if anyone, after having some time to consider, would like to offer any opinions? I won't mind if they are negative! I've had it since I was a kid, and I'd just like to find out if it's any good.

                Thanks,

                Tim

As far as I'm concerned, it is an original. This was the other known maker of the SA War Wounded along with the more common M1/100.

Looks fine to me, typical grey, aged finish to the zinc.

What i don't understand is, if someone was going to fake something then surely they would make an exact copy and wouldnt put an unknown or wrong maker mark on it. You wouldn't copy the Mona Lisa and call it a Picasso!
