new aquissitions...midwife/and italian enamel

check these two out...both came today...
the midwife is the base pin...but still pretty rare...only 5000 or so issued during the third reich...the italian pin is awesome...lots of marks on the reverse and the 3 flags of the axis on front...never seen one before...commemorates the signing of the axis pact...was this in 1938?

The midwife pin is not for the Third Reich period because it does not have the hankenkreuz. It is an earlier version.

i didnt even register that...your right it is pre third reich...and pictured in Husken's book....

The Italian pin speaks for itself. It is a nice enamel especially grouping Italy, Germany and Japan together. Would like to see it in person.
