    SA Ring?

    Hi everyone,
Please could I have some opinions on this ring? SA motif, with “835” stamped on the inside, presumably the silver content? No other markings present. Any help with authenticity, dates, etc would be greatly appreciated.

            Hi Scott.
Once i met a similar ring. However details were little better.
I don't know any facts about this SA rings but i can suppose they took place to be at 3rd Reich time.

              ring

I bought one of these 4 or 5 years ago, but I think they may be post war. There is one dealer who has a steady supply of these and the supposed SA 'Wolfshook' style rings, as well as some other 'dodgy' rings. I would stay away from it unless it's very cheap!

                Hi,

I have 2 SA rings. I will post pics of one. I believe the one to be listed is a fake. Most of the enameled rings from the period are hollowed out and not thick in design. The details are much sharper. Some have silver content and others do not.

the first ring posted is a fake. There was a site a few years ago that just sold fake rings ,posters and tapestries. This looks exactly like their SA ring..There is also another site now, the one mentioned that has a "steady" supply of 'original' rings. Its a BS story and they too are fakes...
The 2nd ring shown by John C. is a very nice original.., G.

Thank you all for taking the time to post your comments. I had never seen one of these rings before, therefore had nothing to use as a reference. Once again, the combined knowledge of members of this Forum has come up trumps.
                          Thanks again,
                          Scott
