unknown Dutch medal

hello

today i got a call from a friend saying he was given a medal from a friend who was rebuilding his barn,
and underneath the barn he found this medal, as he knew that my friend is interested in ww2 he gave it to him,as he isn't interrested in collecting he gave it to me

only i don't know what is was for,my guesse is that it's for somekind of march

on the medal it says:

top:25-35 KM
bottom: 2-5-'40

any forum member knows what this medal is?

i know what it is (for all interessed)!!!!!!

i emailed a friend who is more into SA but know allot of people who are in the Dutch end of the hobby,and he forwarded my question to mr Otto Spronk,and a few days ago i got a reply

i have to translate it from Dutch to English (there might be a few mistakes in there)
that medal is from may2 1940,so in the middle of the mobilization period-on the 10th of may 1940 was the army in active duty-and was probably a big military march.
mobilized soldiers held on regular bases exercizes(SP) and marches,this one was probably the last one from that period.rare little medal,never seen it before

yes Patrick i thought is was the 4 days (vierdaagse) too but they are held later in the year( june july ect.)
