    Reference materials

Hope everyone had a great holiday....
i know reference material has been discussed before on this board, but i thought a recap might help some newer readers....
below are books that i have in my library which i consider excellent...unfortunately there are not too many.....
several members also have some excellent web sites which probably should also be included(Frobler's comes immediately to mind)....I know there are some excellent resources in German that some members may have access to ....please list what you can
    mike

1 J.R. Cone..One People One Reich...enameled organizational badges of Germany 1918-1945....excellent book published in the 70's..if you can find a copy grab it.
2 Ray Cowdery...Nazi Para-Military Organizations and their badges .....good tinnie book, not much on enamels but large amount of tinnies pictured.
3 Heering-Husken....Katalog der Abzeichen deutscher Organisationen 1871-1945....in German still in print..not much description but tons of pictures...unfortunately none in color but a great and reasonably priced resource.
4 For Russian badges/enamels Mcdaniel's book is the bible..The Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders and Medals.

Not at all a comprehensive list but something to start with.....As you get involved with this type of collecting one quickly comes to the conclusion that the amount of good resource material is fairly limited...at least in my travels...
look forward to seing how large this list can grow
