    Is This A Day Badge?

    Hi Chaps,

If I'me posting this in the wrong section I appologise in advance:

A friend runs a small antique shop and this badge came in with several British cap badges. I thought it was probably a day badge celebrating Italian and German Fascism but in truth have no idea. Is anyone here able to identify it please? Also, sorry, any idea as to value.

    Many Thanks, Yours, Guy.

I believe that badge was a decoration worn by italian troops who had been trained in Germany.

Indeed it is. The Trupenabzeichen der Zweiten Italienen Division San Marco, to give it it's correct name. Generally known as the San Marco badge by collectors.

As Patrick correctly stated, worn by Italian troops trained in Germany.

        Cheers
        Don
