The cross has a couple of problems for me. The silver mark in this form should be .900. The ribbon suspention should be ribbed. The enamel looks to be very heavy.
I agree with WARLORD, the ribbon suspention must be different, the one we see in the image looks like the one of the 1937 period pieces and the cross is 1939-1943 design (by the way the ribbon is not of an Eagle Order).
About the silver mark I think is 900 what appear in the image.
These pieces are in the habit of being very well finished and it is strange that appear these blemishes in the enamel, like around the swazs. Anyway if it is a fake I think that it is very well done.
