The pin probably is original, unless you can see something not shown in the photo. The round pinplate became standard around 1934, but pre-RZM pieces had a few differences. Not being RZM marked, your badge is from just before before March, 1934. It probably isn't much earlier, as the front has the final standardized lettering (round "O", etc.) found in later RZM pieces.

I don't think I've seen the big Steinhauer & Luck logo on one of these badges before. Nice.
