    RAD hat insignia

    Hello,

does anyone have any RAD hat insignia both metal and cloth that they could share pictures of(ideally of front and back!)here are a few of mine,I would appreciate any opinions of the enamled hat insignia(marked CTD ges gesch and the triangle RADJ logo),the cloth one is machine embroidered, the painted EM is marked CTD 39 ges gesch with the triangle RADJ logo, one of the prongs(top one) has been replaced with the same gage copper wire.

                    James,

The enlisted man's device has "C.T.D." and "38."

The officer's device has no maker mark or number, just "Ges. Gesch." in raised letters.

Yancy, most likely it has to due with the maker more then anything else

                          Hello James,

I have 2 others that are made by the same company C.T.D,and they have the 2 prongs,1 of Georges is made by C.T.D and its the 2 prong type,a more specific question would be does anyone have or has anyone seen a enamled RAD hat badge made by C.T.D with the four prongs? The main reason i allways question this piece is the the source i bought it from,a well known German dealer who tried to sell me a fake in the past (I caught it right away and havent done buisness with him since!)anyways to make a long story short after he tried to sell me a fake i went back and took a closer look at the things i bought from him(about 5 things in total)everything else looks ok to me,Ive had alot of people look at the enamled hat badge at shows etc, everyone says its good ,ill still keep on looking untill i find someone with another identical example like that no matter what anyone tells me about it,but i still like to hear everyones opinion anyway.
