                            Nice badges Torsten, I particularly like the second one.

                            Thanks for the compliment on the photography, but it's the camera that does the work! I just play with the light a little.
                            I use a Canon A95 with a 250D close up lens, mounted on a cheap copy stand. Natural light only, using white paper "reflectors" to (try and) fill in light evenly.
                            I pay close attention to trying to reproduce color as accurately as my eyes allow, although I can only judge by my own monitor. I don't count, but I probably will discard between 5 -10 images for every one that satisfies me.

                            It takes a little time, but I feel it's worth it. Give it a go, with some patience!

                              I started a thread a while back getting people to indicate if they had Magnetic or NON-Magnetic DRL badges ... from Bronze right up to Gold and WW types. The interesting result indicated that Wernstein Jena was the only maker that made Magnetic versions of these badges.

                              BTW I just have to TOOT my horn as well BTW .. mine's NON_Magnetic...
