    Munich plaque

    Any ideas what this would be awarded for?

    It came in with a group of shooting awards & badges. However, the shooting experts do not believe that it is connected with any shooting competitions.

    It's approx 2 inches long & is unmarked on the reverse.

    Any clues?

        Don, I guess you know that it is from the city of Muenchen/Munich...?...but, as to its dedication, it is non-descript and I guess it will have been handed out for different competitions (could be sports, could be something else?) and it is probably impossible to guess what this particular one was given for..Cheers, Torsten.

          Hello all,
          I don't speak German but I have a plaque,I believe it is for tennis or table tennis,and the word Einzel if I remember correctly is translated as singles(as in tennis). Just wondering if maybe this plaque is for third place winner in singles tennis. I could be totally wrong but just a thought. Also did a translation using bablefish and this is what came up in translation of wording on plaque:literal translation I guess, "City cup match 3 single winner.
