Gausieger Madness

Added my third 1938 Gausieger to the collection. Note the blue color on top were the wreath ends come togheter. Some say this is patina but to me it looks a part of the finish.

I missed your point, and it is an intriguing one~!!
Michael follows it up nicely. The blue at the top of the badge is so subtle that I doubt anyone has really noticed it. Unless they have studied these badge as you have.
And you would need more than one of these to really notice this little detail.

Does the blue show underneath the wreath also?

Good observation, and I think you are right, it is a subtle part of the design. Never heard of anyone mentioning this before.
