    Gebirgs Jgr. Rgt.139 badge

    Hello guys!

I wonder if anyone can help me to ID this “Gebirgsjäger Rgt. 139” badge/cross? I have a feeling it is made post-war for veterans from GJR 139 “Generaloberst Dietel”. I have three wehrpases for soldiers stationed in Norway with GJR 139, so if this is something made for veterans it would be a nice addition to my collection

Do you know anything about this badge? Thank you in advance

    Best regards
    Marius

That's a nice badge Marius, i've only seen one 139 lapel pin before, it's design was in red and yellow, it's design based on a Narvik shield with GJR 139 on the top instead of the word Narvik.

      Hello Simon!

But do you know if it is a WWII issue, or a badge made after the war for veterans?

      Best regards
