    Gausieger 1944 - HELP!!!

    Hi everyone

I have been offered this Gausiegerbadge 1944 and my overall impresion jugding from the pics are that this one might be good. I have studied the few threads there are on this one and compared to "Blankewaffes" (hope its ok to use your pics) and find that they don't match in quality. Especially the hose that the hook is inserted in is almost nonexcistent on "mine" whereass its welldefined on Blankewaffes

    Every view is welcome!

    Cheers Thomas

You will have seen my experience with one of those in the thread you copied. I would also like to know more about these but the fact that they were roughly made at the end of the war and have no enamel, makes them ideal for forgers I guess although there does not seem to be that many of them around. I do not have enough experience of these to enable me to make a decision and I await some clear proof, as you are.

These are the rarest of the range. They should be in Zink with a creamy white paint finish. The high lighted thead gives the number of feathers in the known originals. The badge puictured is the one in the three shown. It has been in my collection for a great number of years and is a good example of an original piece.
