RAD Capinsigna enamelled ?

I know the RAD Capinsigna as a painted item; I would like to know if is original also made in enamel? When yes are for the officers? Perhaps it is possible to look in the Militaria fundforum de. ;section Echtheitsbestimmung... about this item.

Hello Ben,

RAD officers hat badges were made with enamel,they generaly costs about 2X as much as a painted EM hat badge,i will post some pictures of some of mine when i get home from work.(my avater is a officers hat badge made by Assman) also try typeing RAD hatbadges into the advanced search engine and you will find old threads on this topic.
