I have just recieved this NSBO/NSHAGO/DAF tinnie in the post.It is a beautiful heavy badge, however it doesn't have the standard tinnie "safety pin" type attachment.Does anyone else have this badge with the same type pin ? I am always concerned about this type of "jewlery" pin as a couple of repro Tinnies that I have have previously bought had the same pin on them.

I think the tinnie is a good one, but the attachment pin has been replaced with the wrong style of pin.Comment

James has got it right. I've also seen this type pin on a lot of 1933 Nurnberg Reichsparteitag badges.Comment

ben, A tinnie without an attachment pin or incorrect pin IMOP should be marked down $!0 to $!2 below the same tinnie that is all intact with the correct attachment pin.Comment

No matter what the cost of the tinnie it should be reduced if the attach pin has been lost or repaired with an incorrect pin.Comment

I am glad to say I picked the badge up on Ebay for only 15 Euro, so couldnt really have got a reduction for a replaced pin, without the seller paying me to take it off his hands
