    DRA badge numbers

I've seen two bronze DRA badges with the following details on the reverse:
    *L. CHR. Lauer NURNBERG* & *M.SCH. No 33918*.

One has a broad flat pin, the other a more rounded and thinner one.

Is it possible for two badges to have the same numbers, and what do the numbers refer to?

    Thanks, Russell

In these cases the numbers are a sort of patent or licence number, you will notice that it is raised & part of the die. If the badge has an issue number, then it will be stamped or engraved.

Thanks for the reply. How about the difference in pins on the reverse? Did this same maker use both thin and flat pins?
