Grundsteinlegung VW Tinnie help with indentifying

Hello, I have a Grundsteinlegung volkswagen tinnie. I purchased it in england from an antiques dealer. It looks very old and appears to be brass or bronze with silver plating that is worn off in the high spots. I searched the forums and I found that my tinnie is different than the other tinnies on the forum and different froh Herr Weitze's as well. My tinnie has no bumper guards or liscense plate on the front bumper and the letter Ss are of a different shape. Any help anyone can give me is greatly appreciated

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have decided that the best way to find the value of a rare item is ebay. So I am selling my VW tinnie.

I would have thought that my Tinnie is likely to be a repro, but I still have not found anywhere definite to tell me what the real thing should look like... good luck with your ebay auction. Cheers, Torsten (ebay id german.militaria).

Just got this a few days ago in Istanbul...It feels quite heavy and it is not magnetic. Have we made any progress with spotting fakes?
