    Not good to me. Never saw this white border and the enamel looks very poor...

          I'm with Robin - Holy Moley- it's a bad one.

          Enamel and lettering are poor quality and wrong. I think it is meant to be the centre of a fake Gold Party Badge with the white edge.

            Bit of a dogs breakfast that one, lots of things wrong, crude enamelling and lettering, plus the swastika is 'floating' amongst the white circle, usually on NSDAP badges at least a corner of the four 'legs' brushes the outside edge of the white. Would also be interested to see the reverse .

              It's not easy to get a good picture of the back. It is a screwback (but missing the bolt). The is NO markings whatsoever. I thought maybe that it was custom made. Maybe the white outer was to fill where they fitted the badge into a shell to enable it to have a screwback. I assume welding on the back would damage the enamel and so they fitted into a shell.
              It would be nice if it was original....but I am new to this game. I would like to have some advice on my printed eagle also if anyone could. It's been kindly posted by Pierre H (thanks) on Wehrmacht Uniforms and Insignia.
              I will try and find an original badge...and now I know what to look out for. Any suggestions what to do with this one?

                Screwback = modern Polish-made fake.

                Sorry.

                  I agree with Sjl, I've seen some wild East European enamelled fantasy badges all screw backed, and I can't remember seeing a screwback party badge.
