    Hi,

this is an old thread, but there is something to say.

The sports badges never exists as a 57 issue.

The miniature shown here is a post war issue.

The badge from Wernstein could be an original, but partly handmade on the reverse. It is very difficult to say, that it is original silvered and gilded.
To add the nuts at the reverse, you had to heat up the badge, and I don't think, that it could happen without changing the structure of the surface.

    Regards
    Uwe

I beg your pardon for my bad English

        Wonderful!

        Gottlieb:
        "...this jeweler-modification..."

Warlord: "I also think the finish both of the silver and the Guilding is not quite right."

        Gottlieb:
"Comes complete with an original DRL stickpin for disabled veterans."

That is not true. It is definitely a post war issue!

        Regards
        Uwe
