Weight of German eagle order

For a silver based order, I think weight sometimes can be a solid proof for German eagle order's authenticity. However I cannot find any useful information. Could experts of this medal give me some education on that?
The most confusing part lies in the first and second breast star. They appear to be a little bit light for their material and dimension.
Also, I've seen two different weight for the second breast star. One is below 45g and another is close to 55. Considering only one manufacturer made this order, the variance is too high to ignore. So is it like German cross, a heavy type and a light type exist simultaneously?

Keep in mind that there were medals made of silver (1937-1943) and others made of zinc (1943-1945) ... the latter weighed less

Jesus, don't mean to be picky, but you need to weight the medal alone without the ribbon. Interesting to note is that your medal with swords weights less than the 1st type medal without swords (23,86g). Perhaps your's will come out differently, should you remove the ribbon.

Sorry I forgot to count in the first version made by Deschler. But the second class breast star that I compared are all Godet made. One sold in Hermaan's auction weigh about 44g. Another one on a dealer's website is annotated to be 54g.
Considering 3rd and 4th DAO already weigh 30g, the 44g version breast star is a little bit light...
A reference weight for first and second class eagle order is quite hard to find...

The ribbon is outside the weight zone so there should not be much difference. As for the manufacturers of the medal there are, according to my knowledge the following:

-First type with the flat cross full of points inside and 900 marking on the profile manufactured by Deschler. letters of the back legend in gothic type

-Second type with the cross in relief and the bottom of the plain cross. marked "835 PR Münze Berlin" manufactured by Hauptmünzamt, Berlin. Letters of the back legend in gothic type

-Third type with the cross in relief and the bottom of the plain cross. marked "Münzant Wien 835" manufactured by Hauptmünzamt, Wien. Letters of the back legend in latin type

-Four type with the cross in relief and the bottom of the plain cross. marked in the ring "30" manufactured by Hauptmünzamt, Wien. Letters of the back legend in latin type.

There are also medals from that time without marking on the ring and with marking 29 of the manufacturer Hauptmünzamt, Berlin.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.. I'm looking for reference weights for all levels of DAO. So the data you provided did help.
I mentioned the breast star because their weights are especially confusing and hard to find due to the scarcity.

It may prove hard to weigh awards 100% accurately with the ribbons on .I have a fair few but I will not be taking the ribbons of anytime soon.
