I believe this bird should be made of bronze
Here is one that sold on Ratisbons for you to compare.
And with a post war base
I would assume postwar bird Also

just based on pictures shown, i believe this bird has a chance of being original .seems to have correct patina for a bronze eagle...EC

Fake imo, not a fan of the bird, the platform it’s on nor the bird. Plaque is indeed postwar.
