That's the reverse of the eagle. I still think it may have a chance... better pictures are needed for sure.
                Regards,

You sir are correct ..... here is one that is a twin to the one in the 1st post, all it needs is to be aged. A $50.00 reproduction. There is a guy on military123 that sells decent reproductions as reproductions and has several different style of eagles ....Pabst, Heer, Luft etc. They make nice decorations for a war room game room or what have you.
                  Regards,

                    Desk Eagle in Question

                    Hi
This desk eagle is a fake. There have been a few around for sale on a few sites. There is no catalogs that are Third Reich era with this perticular type of eagle.
The base is also not original or is the bolt. This has been aged to look period but definitely a fake.
                    I wouldn't buy this.

Good catch Michael, seems to be proffesionally aged, and for sure offered like original

This design did not exist in the TR period. It is a modern day fantasy piece.

Mil, yes and the shop that sells them (pabst, heer, luft & political eagles) sells them as reproductions, does not advertise them as original ... unscrupulous people buy them & try to pass them as original I have seen some of them on auctions in the past. There is another shop that sells NSFK & NSKK plaques & others as reproductions but you will see them all over the net at auction sites selling as original pieces.
                          Regards,
                          Michael H.
