I dont agree, offcourse it could be a replaced Eagle but to me the helmet is not in that bad condition, if you store a leather helmet with metal insignia for 90 years iam sure you will not see aging on metal but leather gets dry with time... and than it could very well be a late period third reich replacement from first to second pattern NSKK eagle.
