    White shirt and tie

    Hi,

Not collector of political groups, but would to have one someday, was wondering if the hardest part to find ( apart from the uniform)could be the brown shirt ( just noticed its brown and not white) and the black tie. Because i dont see them very often.

Please, any help would be great!

    Thanks!

To find NSDAP brown service shirt is not that difficult, I see them offered quite often.
Appropriate tie for the shirt is brown as well, not black, to find nice tie is a bit harder, Jeff Clark at nsdapunforms.com is offering one right now.

The ties and shirts are out there. Jeff has some very nice examples on his site. The ties don’t come cheap but they definitely complete the package.

Actually, both the white and beige/brown shirt was worn with black tie for the pre-1939 uniform, depending on the type of dress code specified. For office/dienstanzug, the brown shirt and black tie was specified in the Org Book. A white shirt with black tie was specified for Ausgehanzug/special occasions. For new post-1939 dress codes, the brown and white shirts were worn in similar circumstances but with the brown tie. Check the 1941 and 1943 Org Books.
