      The attachment is not the issue. The issue is the badge shown is a well-known
      fake. Look at the PERFECT lettering on the obverse. I don't think so!

        I agree with bmsmear. That robot-like die cutting effect on the letters is a red flag.

          This pin is from the Gettysburg Museum. I'm struggling to see much of a difference in the letters. Is the difference the thicker black outline?

            The one from that museum is good. The die is made by human hands. Note the small imperfections on the text visible on the enlarged picture from that original piece. When you train yourself in looking at original Party Badges you will feel immediately uncomfortable when looking at the badge that stated this thread.
