Not really, certainly would not be this one and there are more convincing but still questionable examples as well.

Bob, John T has / had an SS terra cotta plaque on his website awhile back (it will be in his archive page) and the details on that one were very, very sharp compared to this one, this one looks like a copy of a copy. I guess that it could be a period home made piece.

Thanks Guys! A friend who used to collect is moving and I almost have a feeling he was going to put it in the garbage. It may not be real but as a decorator I think it is cool. I hit estate sales and advertise these days for all kinds of antiques. I have started to really like "artsy" type of stuff, I guess we change over the years.
