Opinions on Orts Gemeinschaftsleiter Tabs and Armband

All, these are on a large-sized tunic - approximately a US 46L. I would appreciate any opinions as to authenticity as political and Party items are not my area of expertise.

As always, thanks in advance for any assistance!

The tabs, armband and tunic are all good, as to when tabs and band was applied to the tunic can’t reply. Also tunic missing blue collar piping and this is not unusual.

The Gemeinschaftleiter tabs were only worn by Ortsgruppenleiters. The parts are period but do not go together IMO, so the tunic has to be put together.

          Hi Jeff -

Pardon my ignorance on things political, hat would be the difference in appearance of an Ortsgruppenleither tunic? In other words, what differentiates that level?

          Thanks,

          Don

Its an impossible combination based on the ranking system after 1939. The armbands signify the rank, the tabs are pay grade (or seniority in position). Prior to 1939, the collar tabs signified the rank.

A Blockleiter or Zellenleiter could not have that high of a pay grade (tabs) no matter how long in position, based on the regs. The 1940/43 Organizations books actually state what pay grades (tabs) an Ortsgruppenleiter and Kreisleiter can wear. You have to look elsewhere to find out what the lower ranks could wear.
