    Look at the swaz on Ron's vs the one that started this thread. The one that started this thread has disproportionate arms that vary in thickness. Could be the angle of the photo but not the quality I would expect. Veins in leaves look crude and the upper left oakleaf has 5 branching veins rather than 6. Not an expert on aging but the patina doesn't look right, almost as if it were artificially aged.

      All the reproductions of this pin that I have seen over the years (both marked and unmarked) have this swastika trait. Sorry.

              The badge in the first thread is for sure a fake.
              It seems that there were 2 different producers: One who took a dark blue varnish as shown by the second picture (I got the same with its document) and one who produced them with blue enamel.

                The one from Münster isn't original ! Wrong blue, the needle has to be horizontal, they had no makers mark and were magnetic. The one from Ron is an orginal varnished one but a different type with different needle system and in dark blue translucent enamel existed, too.
