Hi all. I received this lovely BDM group pennant today and was hoping one of the GAU - District savvy HJ guys could help me identify the district for 16/225. It has a Wolfsangle on the reverse side. It’s the nicest one I’ve owned yet. Your help is much appreciated in advance. Hope you like it too. Cheers. Johnno.

225 is anyway the area of Kloppenburg and Vechta in the district of Nordsee.
By the way: the title is confusing where you say 235, but show 225.Last edited by wilhelm Saris; 09-16-2019, 06:48 AM.

William I too have collected HJ/DJ/BDM for many years now and sometimes I’ve come up with period genuine examples of non RZM conform. This is one of them. And if the non chain stitched district numbering is fake I will eat my hat ( or BDM Tellermutze) ect. It’s just a non RZM variation. This entire wimpel is of the highest possible material and workmanship through out. There is no sign of ever a RZM tag being attatched to this pennant. Respect, Johnno.

For those who aren't members over there the photo shows a BDM pennant with non-RZM unit number stitching on a photo depicting an event held in 1942/3. Edit: the unit itself was not in existence before Oct 1941 so the pennant "should" be totally RZM - but it isn't.
