    Party Bowl?

I hope this is the correct sub forum.

Recently I picked up a WW1 Iron Cross at a garage sale. It is attached to a sterling watch chain. I was thrilled to find it that it wasn't until later that night that I remember pulling the cross out of a bowl...a silver bowl? So I went back the next day & no bowl.

I went about visiting other sales asking about military items when a fellow shopper said he had just picked up a bowl & wanted to know if I wanted to see it.....YES! He presented it, we agreed on a price & it was mine, the very bowl that the cross was found in.

I was told that it is from a NASDP owned hotel. Is this correct & how rare are they? Seems to be serialized #4435?

This is where the cross will remain.

This maker did make hotel bowls, teapots etc. so it looks correct.
    Not rare IMO.
