I can't comment from the one photo, which isn't very helpful. But I tend to agree with ErichS' comment.

If judged original to the period, I wouldn't want this piece in my collection, given the condition and the availability of pieces in fine condition. That said, if the seller was only asking a few dollars and the piece was judged genuine...

I was able to get it. I pushed the blade back in and it is not coming out.
