    Opinions on this piece please

I could not find a forum that seemed correct for this piece (a beer stein claiming to be a 60th birthday gift to a very well known Nazi figure) so I put it here thinking it would get the most eyes on it. My friend is looking at this piece and I just have a bad feeling about it. Thought I would see if everyone else has the same bad feeling. I am always weary of things supposing to be attached to such well known figures as this. I feel that if this were really what it claims to be, it would cost much much more. It smacks of things like watch fobs and cigarette cases. You get the picture. Thanks in advance for any and all opinions.

Eric, I looked at his other items & he has some sketchy stuff for sale such as .... 25 year NSDAP for $799.00 I would avoid him as I believe he knows what he is doing.
    Regards,
    Michael H.

The stein is cheap for a presentation piece of this notoriety. The engraving looks good but probably not good enough when all things are considered.

This is not an authentic period item.

Thanks for the opinions guys. Like I said, I didn't see it being right for a person so well known. I will advise my friend.
