    NSDAP Wall eagle - Please

I recently purchased this wall eagle, it seems to be very well made and much better than the majority of the fakes I've seen.

Also, it has the name of a maker on the side.

I did research on this particular company and found an updated version of it.

The Company listed on the piece is Metallgisserei A. Luck, today it goes by Martin Luck Metallgisserei. It turns out that in 1949 the company re-established itself under the new name. I'm not sure if a forgerer would have gone through all that trouble.

It seems to have been cast in Bronze.

Here is an example of a reproduction I found

here is an example of two originals which both differ from one another, I'm assuming that there were multiple manufacturers throughout the years.

    Originals:

All help is appreciated, thank you!

It seems to be a nice piece, compared to the one on od43.com

For me the maker mark seems odd. An other of those eagles (same material but without maker) was shown in a German forum about 2 weeks ago. The member recently purchased it from a "collector" together with many other fake items. Considering that I personally would not feel comfortable to have this piece in my collection.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve decided against paying for it, it seemed a little too good to be true. As it usually is with these things.

            Hello Tom,

Do you have a link or photo of the other eagle from the German Forum so we can all learn, please?

Oh, yes I see it now. But it is only 25 € for a year. Just a small investment for good benefit.
