Hi guys, can I ask your opinion on this Book, does anyone recognize this label and stamp?

The stamp says: “Deutsche Akademie” (German Academy) and “Florenz” (Florence).

There is one more word (or two) in the stamp, which I can’t decipher.

The letters below the oak leaves say “d” and “a” (for Deutsche Akademie).

Very interesting. "Gift of the German Nation" to the German Academy in Florence, Italy. One wonders if the academy was part of the AO Italian?

A good question, Joe! Karl Siegmar Baron Dr. von Galera was a fairly prolific Austrian author who wrote on Third Reich subjects before, during and after WWII. His book list is impressive.
