Saw this at a show today.
Hat is original, but for what?
Piping is toned, but appears to be white twisted-cord cello (it could be faded yellow).
Piping was added after the hat was made, but IMO, wartime.

Also, anyone know which Hersteller was 1429?

Eastern Territories usually has the trapezoid eagle and buttons are wrong for RMBO.Silver eagle so,SA it is,NSDAP would have gold eagle.
