There are quite some photos where the diamond is visibly worn.

Thank you, I checked the HJ-Forum but no luck as far as photo of diamonds being worn. There is a photo of the earlier adjutant boards.

Thanks Holzwurm. I thought the HJ-forum would have them. Just one tiny where you hardly can see it worn.
I remembered such photo, but now I know it was in my HJ-handbook where adjutants are being explained shortly (pages 194-196) and its wearing is shown on page 196 for example.
