Political Eagle: RZM "RFS 39" G.B.... authentication needed

    Hello,

Somebody wants to buy this eagle from me, but I want to confirm the authenticity before I take any money. I have posted this before on WAF, with one positive review... but I want to double check.

Thank you all in advance, kind regards,
    Rylan

Sorry Rylan, it looks suspect with the back and markings. Not good.

The reverse is a give away it is no good.
The markings may give a "good" feeling, but it in fact is rubbish! Eagles were not marked like that.

Thank you for your replies. I’m glad I checked before selling it as an authentic eagle.

I agree with Mil and Wim. Hope you didn't pay too much for this piece back in the day, Rylan! We all have a box or a drawer in our collection room marked "Mistakes" or other similarly appropriate wording!!

No it's all good, I'm pretty sure this came in a lot of mixed items.

Believe what you believe, but eagles were having different reverses then this one!!
Besides that the markings are NOT okay!

You asked for an opinion, you got it. Accept it!

I have to agree with Wilhelm. I would stay clear of that one...Not what you would expect to see on this pattern bird. Attached is a gold one (made of aluminum) of the same version/design as yours made by Fritz Zimmermann showing typical construction & markings used for these birds

Sorry, my comment misled you. I agree with everyone that it is 100% fake, bad, not an authentic piece. When I said "it's all good", I was referring to the amount of money I have into it. Not the eagle's authenticity. Sorry for the confusion
