AH bust

I would like to get some opinions on this AH bust It kinda looks to be a good one except for the under side of the base which looks like it is a recast & some casting marks on the neck. IMHO it's a reproduction.

I would go out of an original head, but something edited, on the neck she was in my opinion "soldered" and the base, I can not quite explain, possibly was supplemented or heavily edited, should indeed be the same as mine....

Agree--it looks as though the bust was broken off the base at some time and was repaired. The metal being a zinc alloy, there are limited methods to reattach it securely and there were fewer ways if the repair was done pre 45.

The bust is an original with a repair I have it in hand and compared it to another HB example that I have. Thanks to all who commented on it.
