What is this eagle for?

Hello gents,
No idea if this is the right place for my question, sorry if not.
What is this eagle for and is it an original one? It is very large, see pic with regular size cap eagle for comparison. Has two lugs on the back, but I can´t see any other markings.
Any help is highly appreciated!

Agree with Vince. A repro KM Pith Helmet, usually in gold/gilt finish. Some are stamped, others aren't.
