    S.A. Y Straps?

    Gentlemen,

I posted these Y Straps on the International Sub Forum and one person suggested they might might be S.A. They do not have any markings of any type on them. Comments please.

    Regards,

Not the standard SA suspenders. The regulation examples have prongless slide buckles like a regular cross-strap. In very early photos you sometimes see a pronged buckle with different leather strap set up worn as a cross-belt by SA men, but by the time the regulations were set up and RZM examples produced, the standard cross-strap buckle was used.
Also, the belt loop fittings used by the SA (as well as by most, if not all NS organizations) were "D" shaped and not elongated as these appear.

      Eric,

Thanks for your comments. They didn't look like any SA Y-Straps that I had seen.

      Regards,

      Gordon
